Wallace Rahming: Biography

At one time, Wallace Rahming was no different than any other in the ongoing quest for peace in this world system. Now after 18 years of music ministry and eight recorded projects, Wallace reaffirms his goal to proclaim the Good News in song. There is not much unusual about Rahming’s history other than the fact he is now writing and recording Christian music. Showing a gift for music from and early age, Wallace released his first Christian recording “IN HIS LOVING CARE” (1991) followed by a full-length album project “JESUS SAVED" a few months later. Two full-length recordings, “RETURN TO ME” (1993) and the successful “STAND” (1997) would later follow. Wallace entered the 21st century with a more mature writing style and stronger faith producing the powerful “SALVATION” CD (2000) and the popular follow-up "RESTORED" (2005). Wallace's new release "POEMS" is his most powerful project to date. This collection of songs are "musical poems" of how a modern day Christian views the current conditions in the world. Wallace teaches voice in Vero Beach, Florida. He is currently presenting his music in local and regional area churches and has made several appearances on WTCE channel 21 (a Trinity Broadcasting Network affiliate station).

My Style of Music

"I am often asked, "What style of music do you perform?" I define my music as "sacredlor" music. I was originally a secular artist writing R&B and Pop songs. As God's sacred text (The Bible) infused with my thinking, lifestyle and behavior, it also infused with the messages in my music. There are those outside of the faith who would say that my music is "too religious" and there are also some within the faith who say my music is "too worldly". I guess that would be true if you take away the vocals from the track. I'm not ashamed of God's Word nor am I willing to fake a style of "church music" which I am not skilled in performing in order to be successful by man's standards. I am who God has made me to be. If you are not a person of faith, you probably won't like my music. If you are overtly religious, you probably won't like my music either. My music is for a select group of individuals who love popular styles of music but would rather hear messages from God's Word instead of man's world."
